Taken from take-out menues in Surrey
"We got all kinds of special noodle soup."
"Prices is not included taxes."
"Besides Noodle soup, we still have some perfect, tasty others kinds of soup. We always hope to bring to you the new Taste that you can't imagine."
Now does that seem appetizing to you?
"Breaking our Legs to bring Fresh & Hot Pizza To Your Door!
Yet again I ask, "Does that seem appetizing to you?"

Not much happening here.
Just in the midst of making supper. It's not too bad today for two reasons: 1. I haven't made supper in a while, and 2. We haven't eaten spaghetti in a while. Bonus!!
Looks like I'm going to be co-leading with my friend Luke from Venere this Sunday for worship. Haven't ventured into that realm in a while. It should be great! One of the best things about co-leading is I get to sing backing vocals... So fun!
"I, I, I sometimes wanna die!" 'Member that song? Joydrop. Where did they go? Perhaps they are in the studio.
I bought Alanis Morisette's new CD "So-called Chaos" the other day. Did you? I can understand if you didn't. Many people do not like her voice and/or her writing style. In fact, I absolutely hated her when the first album came out. The video for Head Over Feet changed my mind. The one with the little girl in it instead of her. I think that the other reason that I changed my mind about her is that the angst that I didn't like her for in the beginning, I could relate to more and more as I grew up and crap happened. Though not a God-fearing individual, as far as I know, she writes some surprisingly great worship tunes. Of course, she's not aware of that either.
It's interesting that a person can write a better love song to an imperfect human being than almost any songwriter has ever written to God. Hum. Makes me wonder.

Autumn's sixth birthday today.
I'm amazed that I survived yesterday (birthday party day). It wasn't that the actual party was bad, in fact it was enjoyable, but the stress leading up to it was pretty intense. Throughout the day yesterday I had some insights about myself.
One. I think that it's amazing that we feel like we finally realize something about ourselves when we knew what was going on for us the whole time. It was just the admission that felt like revelation.
Two. There's a lot of stress to be had if you are concerned with impressions.
Three. I don't lead a 'avarage' lifestyle. I love my lifestyle and wouldn't change it even if I could.
Four. I still have a lot of insecurities. I think that it's better to admit that than to pretend that I don't. It seems to take the power out of them because part of insecurity is hoping that no one will realize that you aren't good enough.
Five. I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I AM NOT PERFECT! So there! Now you can't expect it out of me. :) (You probably didn't anyway.) More like - I can't expect it out of myself.

Sing along with the Beatles and me:
Blah blah blah
Blah blah blah
Blah blah blah
Blah blah blah
All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need

Every girl should paint their toe nails red...
It's very exhilarating!
Guess what I did today!
Painted my toe nails red.
Guess how I'm feeling!
Yup. Exhilarated.

I took three sips of coffee at work this evening and this is what happens! 11:52pm Yes, that's right - it's almost an hour past my bedtime. I am so going to pay for this!
I am married to such an awesome guy. Just in case any of you were wondering. Among his great talents is his ability to cook alfredo sauce. Mmmmmm, my belly is full.
"Everything's going to be alright, Rock-a-bye..." Anyone know who sings that song?
I have realized over the last couple of shifts at work that I have men coming into the store specifically to see me. That is so incredibly strange to me. One really sweet guy, just realized that I am married tonight when he saw and asked about my ring, wedding ring that is. Another guy is super flirty and says that the only reason that girls go out with him is because of his cashola. I saw the wad of cash that he pulled out of his pocket, he's definitly got a lot of money to spend (or so he says). He gave me five bucks as a tip the other night. (Ken was sitting right there in the restaurant!!) And there is an older gentleman who asks me every time he sees me what my shifts are. One night he told my boss to ask me to bring him a beer. At times this all gets a little uncomfortable. I've never been the girl who draws the attention of the males. It's definitly a weird feeling!!
Got to go - sounds like the cat is up to no-good.

I can't figure out if it's been an eventuful couple of weeks or if it's been a completely dull couple of weeks. There were many times I thought about writing but then just didn't, for various reasons. The most likely one being laziness.
I am now married to a 35 year old. That's one of the things that has happened in the last couple of weeks. And that 35 year old is eating ketchup chips for a pre-breakfast snack! That just proves that 35 is NOT old! What responsible adult would eat ketchup chips pre breakfast?
I found out that I am "Arnold" in one of those surveys that let you know what kind of cartoon character you are. I don't know anything about "Arnold." I think that I can picture his face (and that could be the wrong "Arnold"), but that's about the extent of the impact that the strip has had on my life. They should have used Far Side characters. Maybe I would have been the chicken that headed up the "No DUCKS" chicken nudist colony. Now that would have made me laugh!
Later Gater!
